Skilled Maintenance Technician

BUILDING MAINTENANCE●     Build or repair any building fixtures and structures on the property including cabinets, doors, windows, frameworks, floors, roofs, gutters, trim, small furniture and other wooden fixtures.●     Responsible for the carpentry maintenance and improvements of both the exterior and interior of all buildings.●     Study specifications in blueprints, sketches or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required●     Schedules improvements, repairs, and maintenance with the Owners so as not to interfere with hotel operations.●     Inspect ceiling or floor tile, wall coverings, siding, glass, or woodwork to detect broken or damaged structures and recommend possible improvement projects for the future. Execute these improvements in-house whenever possible.●     Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and extremely clean and organized environmentPROPERTY MAINTENANCE●     Maintains and repairs grounds and facilities such as guest cottages, event venues, pools, streets, commercial kitchen, maintenance garage, storage facilities, and all gardening/landscape. ●     Coordinates with fellow Technicians, Department Managers, and Leadership team members to ensure completion of all preventative maintenance as well as minor emergency repairs. ●     Maintains both the exterior and interior of all buildings, including painting, cleaning, and aesthetic repairs. ●     Maintains safety and use of property roads including, but not limited to snow removal, salting, leaf removal, etc.●     Resolves internal service requests via various programs such as Microsoft To-Do, Slack, Text Magic, etc.●     Ensure all guest maintenance needs are met throughout their stay.MAINTENANCE UPKEEP●     Keeps inventory of all necessary supplies including, but not limited to power equipment, paint, vehicle equipment, seasonal maintenance needs, etc.o     Works closely with the Owners and Purchasing Manager to fulfill these orders●     Adheres to all purchasing policies and ensures team has everything they need to succeed●     Communicates with in-house Mechanic regarding construction vehicles, trolley, and golf cart issues●     Completes rounds with team in the morning and evening to ensure property is safe and upheld to company standards●     Communicates with the Owners regarding any Maintenance updates and improvement suggestions●     Thinks outside of the box to uphold company standards regarding the operations and upkeep of the property.Requirements●     Must have your own tools●     High School Diploma or GED●     Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle●     Carpentry experience●     Complete all daily assigned tasks given from owners and Grounds Assistant Manager●     Assist Grounds Assistant Manager in all tasks and duties●     Candidate must be extremely clean, organized, and reliable●     Candidate must have excellent communication skills and the ability to problem-solve with managers across different departments on a daily basisSCHEDULE●     Weekends necessary●     Adhere to an on-call schedule set forth by fellow technicians and the Owners.BENEFITS * Medical, dental and vision insurance * PTO401k with match, and financial advisementContinued learning programStudent loan paydown or saveupLong term disabilitySabbatical program$28 - $32
