Salesforce Marketing Cloud Manager (Onsite)
Summary/ObjectiveBrief DescriptionThe Salesforce Marketing Cloud Manager is responsible for architecting and executing the backbone of our digital marketing efforts. This role designs and manages data-driven, automated journeys to ensure the right messages reach the right members at the right time, driving engagement and influencing behavior across channels. In addition, this position provides leadership and guidance to team members, ensuring alignment across campaigns, maintaining best practices, and fostering professional development within the marketing team.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect and manage member journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journey Builder, utilizing workflow automations and SQL as necessaryBuild and maintain data extensions based on advanced segmentation strategies and SQL queriesBuild emails with dynamic content to personalize messaging, utilizing AMPscript where necessaryManage list uploads, conduct testing, and deploy emails and SMS messagesCreate forms and associated landing pages utilizing HTML as necessaryCollaborate with the Data Team to integrate Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM and other systemsDevelop journey, campaign and A/B testing reports to guide continuous improvement and decision makingOversee deliverability monitoring and marketing data hygieneLead, mentor, and manage additional marketing team members, providing direction, feedback, and support to ensure successful execution of marketing initiativesPartner with members of the Data, Marketing, IT, Product, Services, and Account Management Teams on data flows, campaigns and projectsStay up to date on Marketing Cloud features, best practices, and email marketing compliance Other related duties and projects as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Data Analytics or a related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years management experience leading team members5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, and Automation StudioProficiency in SQL for segmentation and query buildingExperience writing AMPscript and/or SSJS for dynamic content and personalizationBasic HTML skills for form and landing page creationExpertise with customer data sets, list creation and segmentationExperience with campaign performance analysis and reportingExcellent communication skills; ability to translate business requirements into technical executionHighly organized with strong attention to detailStrong project management skillsPreferredSalesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Developer and/or Administrator certificationsCloudPages experience in building forms and landing pagesHTML, CSS, and responsive email template development skillsFamiliarity with data integration via API or Marketing Cloud ConnectExperience with setting up SMS campaigns via Mobile StudioAbout ONEWelcome to ONE!
