Software Engineer in Test

SVH Software is looking for a Software Engineer in Test to write and execute tests for cutting edge projects in healthcare industry. You will work with the most popular technologies in the world. You will work on our small team, own the components that you work on, and be involved from design through deployment to ensure we ship the highest quality software. Duties and Responsibilities Knowledge of the standards and protocols in the healthcare and medical device industry. Use the latest test automation tools/technologies such as Protractor and Selenium to build an automation framework that drives end-end-end product coverage. Develop software to augment existing test automation tools. Establish coding and test automation standards. Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites. Setup, configure, and maintain test environments Collaborate with development team to analyze, debug and resolve design and code issues Work closely with quality assurance engineers and provide technical guidance to peers as needed Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment Actively engage with internal stakeholders to build consensus on system behaviors. Requirements Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering with an emphasis on software development. Minimum 4 years experience with Bachelor's degree / 2 years experience with Master’s degree. Agile Development, Continuous Integration using Jenkins and automated testing experience Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages including but not limited to: C/C++, Java, JavaScript Strong Linux skills, proficient with at least one shell and one high-level scripting language (bash, Python, Ruby) Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD) tools such as JUnit, TestNG Knowledge of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) processes and automation frameworks such as behave , Cucumber , SpecFlow Knowledge of web and mobile testing tools such as Selenium and Appium Demonstrated ability to work with minimal day to day technical direction. Operate effectively in a multi-disciplinary, team-oriented culture. Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
