They provide one-on-one and small group support, helps with toileting and basic care, and engages in active physical duties, including assisting and repositioning young children (infants to age five).Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for assisting in the implementation of basic skills as directed by the classroom teacherPerforming duties as directed by the teacherDuties may include 1:1 instruction and small group instructionToileting and other basic careWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, stand, and walkThe employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. May include positioning of students with physical disabilities.
