Job Title: Radiation TherapistLocation: Houston, TX 77024Duration: 13 Weeks ContractShift: Day Shift (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)Pay Rate: $40 - $45 per hourJob Overview"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to provide high-quality radiation therapy treatments to patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for simulating treatment setups, performing dosimetric calculations, administering radiation treatments, and supporting patient care. The Radiation Therapist will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and medical physicists to ensure safe, accurate, and effective treatment delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister prescribed radiation therapy treatments using specialized equipment.Perform treatment simulations and assist with treatment planning.Conduct dosimetric calculations to ensure accurate radiation dosage.Operate and calibrate radiation therapy equipment, including LINAC machines.Monitor patients during treatments and observe for any adverse reactions.Educate patients on treatment procedures and address questions or concerns.Maintain accurate patient treatment documentation and records.Collaborate with physicians, physicists, and clinical staff to ensure quality care.Follow all radiation safety protocols and protection standards.Required QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field.Experience operating LINAC equipment.Strong knowledge of radiation safety and treatment procedures.Required CertificationsBLS (Basic Life Support)ARRT-T - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Radiation Therapy)MRT - Texas Medical Board LicenseFor more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
