Executive Protection Agent

Position OverviewOmnium Protection Group is seeking experienced Executive Protection Agents for anticipated full-time armed protective assignments in Boston, MA.This position supports a private executive protection program and operates as part of a coordinated protective team. The Executive Protection Agent will provide direct protective coverage, assist with advance work, support secure transportation planning, maintain situational awareness, and respond appropriately to changes in the operational environment.The ideal candidate will have prior experience in executive protection, close protection, law enforcement, military protective operations, diplomatic security, or a related protective services field. This role requires discretion, maturity, sound judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate professionally in a client-facing environment.Primary ResponsibilitiesThe Executive Protection Agent will support the safety, security, privacy, and operational continuity of the designated principal and the protective program.Responsibilities include:Provide armed executive protection coverage during daily movements, meetings, events, travel, and other assigned activities. Operate as part of a coordinated protective team under the direction of the senior protective program lead. Assist with protective advances for venues, offices, residences, hotels, routes, transportation movements, and special events. Support threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments related to locations, travel, events, and protective operations. Maintain a high level of situational awareness and identify potential threats, suspicious activity, vulnerabilities, or changes in the environment. Assist with secure ground transportation planning, including routes, arrivals, departures, staging areas, and contingency options. Coordinate professionally with internal stakeholders, venue security, law enforcement, transportation providers, and approved external partners when directed. Respond appropriately to security concerns, medical emergencies, schedule changes, disruptions, or elevated-risk situations. Prepare incident reports, daily activity notes, post-movement observations, and other required documentation. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the principal, family members, business matters, schedules, travel, movements, and personal information. Ensure assigned protective equipment, communications equipment, emergency medical supplies, and related resources are ready for use. Support emergency action planning, evacuation planning, contingency planning, and crisis response procedures. Represent Omnium and the client with professionalism, restraint, discretion, and sound judgment at all times. Work variable hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, extended days, and travel periods as operational needs require. Required QualificationsCandidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in executive protection, close protection, law enforcement, military protective operations, diplomatic security, or a related protective services field. Demonstrated understanding of protective operations, advance work, route planning, surveillance awareness, secure movements, and emergency response. Valid driver’s license with a driving history that meets client, insurance, and assignment requirements. Current or eligible Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act credentialing, commonly known as LEOSA. Ability to obtain and maintain TSA Armed Security Officer certification, if required for the assignment. Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification, or ability to obtain prior to assignment. Ability to obtain or maintain any licenses, permits, certifications, or credentials required by the jurisdiction, client, or assignment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in dynamic situations. High degree of professionalism, integrity, discretion, and emotional control. Physical ability to perform protective duties, including standing, walking, driving, carrying equipment, and responding to changing conditions. Ability to operate both independently and as part of a protective team. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in sensitive environments. Willingness to complete background screening, credential verification, training, and firearms qualification as required. Preferred QualificationsThe following qualifications are preferred and may strengthen a candidate’s application:Prior service with the U.S. Secret Service, U.S. Department of State, military protective services, or comparable protective operations experience. Formal executive protection or close protection training from a recognized program. Defensive, evasive, or protective driving training. Emergency medical, tactical medical, trauma response, TECC, TCCC, EMT, or similar training. Current firearms qualification and lawful authority to carry where required. Experience supporting senior executives, high-profile individuals, public figures, family offices, or individuals with elevated risk profiles. Experience operating as a solo practitioner and as part of a protective team. Domestic or international executive protection travel experience. Familiarity with protective intelligence, open-source risk monitoring, secure communications, and privacy-conscious security practices. Experience preparing reports, documenting observations, and communicating professionally with stakeholders. Working ConditionsThis is an anticipated full-time armed executive protection assignment with a variable schedule based on the needs of the protective program.The position may involve:Frequent local travel. Occasional domestic and international travel. Early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended workdays. Prolonged standing, walking, driving, and periods of heightened awareness. Carrying protective, communications, or emergency medical equipment. Work in professional, private, public, travel, event, and potentially elevated-risk environments. Operating in a discreet, low-profile, client-service-oriented protective model. Reporting StructureThis position reports to the senior protective program lead and may coordinate with Omnium leadership, client-designated representatives, and other approved security stakeholders.Compensation, Benefits, and Employment StatusThis is anticipated to be a full-time armed executive protection management position.
