Job Description Full Time -1st shift$11 - $16 hourly (DOE)Job Description:The Cashier role in our customer-facing wholesale team should be organized, responsible and trustworthy. This position involves handling cash payments with customers, maintaining financial records, and ensuring a smooth and friendly checkout experience. A Cashier should have a keen eye for detail, strong numerical skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Will also assist with administrative support in order to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate administrative operations.Roles and Responsibilities (but not limited to):Greet customers and answer their questions in a friendly manner.Process sales transactions, which may include cash, checks, cards, and other digital paymentsIssue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customersMaintain a clean and orderly checkout areaCount money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure amounts are correctResolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant informationTrack transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepanciesHandle product returns and exchanges efficientlyOperating office equipment, answering phones, taking and relaying messagesProficient skills in using computer-based systems, programs, and reportsSorting and filing paperworkAssists other department staff as necessaryPerform other duties as requiredSkills and QualificationsCashier experience (at least 6 months)Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)Excellent written and verbal communications skillsHigh School Diploma or equivalentGood time management skillsPrevious produce industry experience preferredAbility to stay calm when customers are stressed or upsetProficient in using MS Word, Excel, and OutlookAttentional to detail and mathematical skillsGreat customer service skillsProficient skills in using computer-based systems, programs, and reportsMust satisfactorily pass a drug testBackground check clearanceMay apply in person at 5724 Trowbridge, El Paso, TX 79925EEOE
