Restructuring & Insolvency Associate Attorney - Seattle, WADirect Counsel is representing an Am Law 100 firm seeking a Restructuring & Insolvency Associate Attorney to join its Finance Practice Group in Seattle, WashingtonThis is an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level associate to join a highly regarded restructuring and insolvency team, working alongside experienced practitioners on complex financial restructurings, workouts, and bankruptcy proceedings. Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent secured and unsecured creditors in bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court restructurings. Assist with avoidable transfer litigation and related bankruptcy matters. Draft and review pleadings, motions, and transactional documents. Conduct legal research and prepare analyses on bankruptcy and insolvency issues. Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop strategies for complex financial matters. Manage cases efficiently while maintaining high-quality client service. QualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. 1-5 years of relevant experience as a bankruptcy judicial law clerk and/or practicing bankruptcy attorneyExperience representing secured and unsecured creditors in bankruptcy and restructuring matters. Strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Admission to the Washington State Bar, or eligibility to obtain. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. CompensationBase Salary: $200,000 - $340,000 per year, commensurate with experience and market factors.
