Travel RN - Med/Surg

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, working across adult medical, adult surgical, and pediatric units.Job Details• Acute care hospital setting with rotation between the Adult Medical unit (3N, 19 beds) and Adult Surgical unit (2N, 23 beds), which also includes 5 pediatric beds,• Adult medical, adult surgical, and pediatric patient population,• RN-to-patient ratio of 5:1, with LPN and/or CNA support staff assisting with vitals, POC testing, ADLs, and ambulation,• Procedures include medication administration and scanning, vital signs, head-to-toe assessments, IV therapy, blood administration, POC testing, and isolation precautions,• Equipment used includes telemetry monitors, Vein Viewers, Philips vital signs monitors, bladder scanners, and standard medical supplies,• Charting performed in Meditech,• 13-week assignment with three 12-hour day shifts per week,Job Requirements• Active RN license in Indiana or a compact state currently in hand,• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred but not required,• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required,• Two professional references required: one from a supervisor within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and one from a peer or supervisor in the same specialty within the last 3 years,Additional Information• Hands-on unit orientation provided with a preceptor; HR manages any additional organizational requirements,• Scrub dress code: any color scrubs (no denim), closed-toe and closed-heel shoes, only stud earrings permitted (no other visible piercings), and long hair must be pulled back,
