The successful candidate will be responsible for the full cycle of contract management, including the drafting, review, and negotiation of various corporate agreements. This role also involves providing legal and operational support for grant programs, managing the lifecycle of these programs, and ensuring compliance with government contracts and grant requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate governance, be well-versed in a range of legal matters, and have the ability to work independently in a remote setting.Applicants must have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school, be licensed and in good standing to practice law in Washington, D.C., and have at least 5 years of relevant corporate law experience. Non-profit experience is a plus. The role requires a strong understanding of general corporate law and contract matters, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to manage a wide range of in-house legal needs. Experience in lending and grant-related litigation is also a plus. The candidate should be adept at coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, including paralegals and outside counsel, and be capable of handling insurance renewals and related risk management matters.Travel Percent Less than 10%FunctionsLegal
