Clinical Cardiologist
We are seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused Clinical Cardiologist to join our well-established medical office. Perform comprehensive cardiovascular assessments, physical exams, and medical histories.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of heart and vascular conditions, including hypertension, arrhythmias, coronary artery disease, and heart failure.
Interpret diagnostic studies such as EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and ambulatory monitors.
Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists to design and oversee individualized treatment plans.
Provide longitudinal care and monitoring for patients with chronic cardiovascular conditions.
Educate patients and families on prevention strategies, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
Document encounters accurately and timely within the practice’s electronic health record (EHR) system.
Participate in clinical quality improvement efforts and maintain up-to-date medical knowledge.
Qualifications:
M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
Active, unrestricted medical license in [State]
Current DEA certification
Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in an outpatient medical office setting
Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Athena)
Subspecialty training or interest in Heart Failure, Preventive Cardiology, or other areas is welcomed
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary: $350,000.00 annually
Performance Bonus: Based on productivity and quality metrics
Partnership Opportunity: Available after 2 years of employment
Call Schedule: Light, shared call rotation — every 3rd or 4th week
