Maintenance Technician

Job DescriptionGpac is working with a well-established, fast growing national food manufacturing company that is seeking 2nd Shift Maintenance Technicians at their facilities in western Kentucky and southern Indiana.This company is committed to providing high quality products while upholding the highest levels of food safety and best-in-class methods in the industry and they are looking for people who want to join us for a long career and be part of a great success story.Duties and responsibilities:Machine maintenance, breaking down equipment when needed, helping to adjust and set up equipment for daily production.Overseeing preventative maintenance, which includes daily and weekly inspection of all machinery.Light plumbing, electrical, welding and carpentry when neededWork with the Maintenance Manager to recommend machine upgrades to boost efficiencyPerforms other duties and responsibilities as required.Qualifications:Experience with food packaging machines is required. Examples: Multivac Tray Sealers, Multivac Thermoforms, Weber (high-speed) Slicers and other equipmentExperience with process equipment such as Weber Slicers, Pick and Pack Automation is requiredAdvanced mechanical and electrical skillsAble to read engineering schematics such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, hydraulic and pneumaticExperienced in HVAC a plusPneumatic EquipmentExcellent communication skills.Work in a refrigerated environmentSchedule:Fixed daily hours Monday - Friday - Day (2:30pm to 11:30pm)Occasional overtime/weekend work as needed.What's in it for you:Hourly wage: $30 to $40Great benefitsAdvancement opportunitiesIf you're interested and serious, please send your confidential resume to Brittany at brittany.hamilton@gogpac.com for immediate consideration!
