Nephrology Physician

Hello!Maxim Healthcare is assisting an esteemed facility in Alameda, CA with a Nephrologist need. Position Highlights: Pending start of 3/4/24 Contract length 26wks w/options for ext. Inpatient need is M-F, 8a-5p day shifts in-house + night call and weekends. Will also usually do 1-2 outpatient clinics per week. Looking for 15 inpatient shifts/month to be covered by locums. Night call and weekend call required. Call is taken remotely from home. Outpatient need is 4-6 clinic half-days per week, 4 hours in the morning or 4 hours in the afternoon.Work Details: Support staff: There s an NP who helps 3-4 days/week + residents who rotate. Patients per day: census is generally around 12, but can get up to 22 (on a very busy day) Patient population/age: all ages EMR: Epic Special procedures: consults only, no procedures requiredRequirements: Board Certification: must be board certified/board eligible in nephrology Active CA license DEA CSR Minimum experience required: new grads accepted, but must have recent and relevant nephrology experienceWe provide: 1099 contract Generous compen$ation!
