You will join an agile technology team focused on designing, building, and delivering secure, stable, and scalable solutions. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.About the RoleThe role centers on automation, continuous delivery, and cloud infrastructure supporting critical business applications.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines that improve release speed and reliabilityDevelop and maintain automation scripts and tooling in Python to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiencyProvision, configure, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure including compute, networking, storage, identity, and container servicesDeploy, scale, and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes in production environmentsCollaborate with application development, platform, and security teams to onboard applications, improve deployment processes, and enforce operational standardsIdentify recurring issues and implement automation that improves system stability and reduces toilEstablish and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability practices so teams can detect and resolve problems quicklyContribute to infrastructure as code patterns and self service developer experiences that accelerate delivery across teamsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field preferredRequired SkillsFormal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3 or more years of applied experienceStrong proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and toolingHands on experience with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatchProven experience deploying and operating applications on Kubernetes at scaleDemonstrated ability to design and manage CI CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Spinnaker, or GitHub ActionsSolid understanding of DevOps practices, containerization with Docker, and cloud native architecturesExperience working in an agile environment and collaborating across development and operations teamsPreferred SkillsExperience with infrastructure as code tools such as TerraformFamiliarity with observability platforms including Prometheus, Grafana, or DatadogPrior experience supporting applications in a regulated financial services environmentPay range and compensation packageThis is a W2 contract role.Equal Opportunity StatementOperAxis is committed to diversity and inclusivity.
