Electrical / Hardware Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Electrical / Hardware Engineer to support the development, testing, and verification of advanced cardiac implantable medical devices, including pacemakers, implantable defibrillators (ICDs), and implantable monitors.This role blends hands-on electrical hardware engineering with the use of AI-enabled tools and automation to enhance engineering workflows, accelerate development, and improve product quality in a regulated environment.Top 3 Required Skill SetsHardware Engineering: Strong foundation in electrical hardware design, characterization, bench testing, troubleshooting, and debugAI Tool Development & Utilization: Ability to develop, adapt, and apply AI-enabled tools to improve engineering design, development, analysis, and testing workflowsPCB Design & Circuit Modeling: Experience with PCB design, schematic capture, circuit simulation, and modeling Key ResponsibilitiesExecute electrical hardware testing, characterization, and debug activities to support design development, integration, and issue resolutionLead formal verification and characterization efforts, including test planning, execution, data analysis, and documentation within a regulated environmentImplement and apply AI-enabled tools, automation, and scripting to accelerate engineering workflows, including testing, analysis, and documentationSupport electrical architecture development, including PCBAs, power systems, sensing technologies, and embedded hardwareCollaborate cross-functionally with systems, software, mechanical, quality, manufacturing, and regulatory teams Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field3+ years of experience in electrical hardware engineering (medical device or regulated industry preferred)Strong hands-on experience with bench testing, debugging, and electrical characterizationExperience with formal test documentation and design controlsExposure to automation, scripting, or AI-enabled engineering tools (1+ year preferred) Preferred QualificationsExperience with cardiac implantable devices (e.g., pacemakers, ICDs, implantable monitors)Experience applying AI/ML to hardware development (e.g., edge AI, embedded intelligence, workflow automation)Knowledge of regulated development standards such as FDA guidelines, ISO 13485, or IEC 60601
