Exciting Full Time Opportunity for Psychiatrist in Alabama! We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist for a permanent coverage near Banks, Alabama. This hospital-employed position offers an engaging work schedule where you will work two weeks on and then enjoy two weeks off. This model allows you to focus on providing exceptional care while maintaining a balanced lifestyle. Our team is dedicated to treating adult inpatients with specialized programs for mood and anxiety disorders, geriatrics, substance abuse, consultation and liaison, and intensive psychiatric care. Work Environment: Behavioral Health Unit licensed for 48 beds, with a current capacity of 28 beds. Collaborative staffing model with two psychiatrists per team. Shared call responsibilities during the active work periods. Opportunity to mentor 3rd and 4th-year medical students and Internal Medicine residents. Internal Medicine Hospitalist group manages medical care of psychiatric inpatients. Single practice location ??? no travel required.
