We are looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our fleet of vehicles and machinery. This role is essential in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Our Ideal Diesel Mechanic: Experienced: 2+ years of experience as a fleet or equipment mechanic, preferably in the construction or paving industry. Strong mechanical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of machinery and vehicles. Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems is a plus. Certifications/Licenses: An Inspection License and certifications in automotive or heavy equipment repair are preferred but not required. A CDL is a plus but not required. Safety-minded: Committed to performing quality work that ensures the safety of our crews. Active: Able to climb, bend, kneel, lift 50 lbs, & perform the work related to repair and maintenance for trucks, equipment, and trailers. Dependable: Can be counted on to arrive at work on time and work efficiently throughout the day. Team Player: Driven to contribute to the team. Good people skills. Humble. Enjoys being part of a team and working with others.
