Contribute to the success of our paving crews by ensuring our equipment and vehicles are in top working order
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on trucks, paving equipment, and trailers
Diagnose and Repair vehicles and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime to keep our team moving
Complete safety inspections verifying that all paving equipment and vehicles are operational and meeting safety standards
Maintain accurate and complete records of all maintenance, repairs, and inspections
Work closely with our paving team to address any technical questions or equipment needs

We are looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our fleet of vehicles and machinery. This role is essential in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Our Ideal Diesel Mechanic:
Experienced: 2+ years of experience as a fleet or equipment mechanic, preferably in the construction or paving industry. Strong mechanical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of machinery and vehicles. Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems is a plus.
Certifications/Licenses: An Inspection License and certifications in automotive or heavy equipment repair are preferred but not required. A CDL is a plus but not required.
Safety-minded: Committed to performing quality work that ensures the safety of our crews.
Active: Able to climb, bend, kneel, lift 50 lbs, & perform the work related to repair and maintenance for trucks, equipment, and trailers.
Dependable: Can be counted on to arrive at work on time and work efficiently throughout the day.
Team Player: Driven to contribute to the team. Good people skills. Humble. Enjoys being part of a team and working with others.
What we offer our Diesel Mechanic:
Competitive Pay: $30-$40/hr., Depending on Experience
