Position Summary
Oversee daily field operations across our client portfolio, including private schools, synagogues, community centers, hotels, and residential properties. This role owns scheduling, staffing, officer performance, client relationships, and compliance. Reports directly to ownership.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations
Manage day-to-day deployment of officers across all client sites
Maintain full shift coverage; resolve call-offs, no-shows, and last-minute coverage gaps
Conduct unannounced site inspections and post checks, including nights and weekends
Enforce post orders at every site and update them as client needs change
Serve as after-hours escalation point for incidents
Hiring & Staffing
Recruit, screen, and interview licensed security officers
Verify licensing status, run background checks, and manage onboarding paperwork
Build and maintain a bench of qualified officers to reduce coverage risk
Manage schedules, timekeeping, and payroll submission accuracy
Training & Development
Deliver site-specific orientation and post order training before an officer's first shift
Conduct ongoing training in access control, emergency response, evacuation procedures, de-escalation, and report writing
Coach underperforming officers; document performance issues and handle discipline and termination
Maintain training records for each officer
Client Management
Serve as primary operational contact for school administrators, synagogue leadership, and property managers
Hold regular check-ins with each account; address concerns before they escalate
Review incident reports and provide client-facing summaries
Identify opportunities for additional coverage or service expansion
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure all officers hold current Florida Class D licenses, and Class G where armed posts require it
Track license expirations and firearms qualification/requalification dates
Maintain compliance with Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) requirements
Ensure incident reports, daily activity reports, and use-of-force documentation are complete and timely
Required Qualifications
Active Florida Class D Security Officer License
Active Florida Class G Statewide Firearm License
Minimum 3–5 years in security operations, with at least 2 years supervising officers
Valid Florida driver's license and reliable vehicle (site inspections required)
Clean background; must pass drug screening
Proficiency with scheduling software, timekeeping systems, and Microsoft Office
Availability for after-hours and weekend response
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with houses of worship, faith-based institutions, or K-12 school security
Familiarity with security assessments and threat-vulnerability planning
Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Hebrew)
Prior experience managing 25+ officers across multiple sites
Class MB (Manager) license or eligibility to obtain
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
