Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D is required. Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) modeling, construction stakeout files, and as-built preparation is preferred. Experience supporting land development or infrastructure construction projects and working with state or local agencies is a plus. Overview The CAD Technician (Construction Focus) supports civil engineering and surveying teams by producing accurate, construction-ready drawings and models used throughout the project lifecycle. This role prepares Civil 3D drawings, develops grading and utility plans, creates 3D grading models in Trimble Business Center (TBC), generates as-builts, and prepares survey stakeout files that guide field crews with precision. The CAD Technician works closely with project managers, engineers, surveyors, and contractors to ensure plans meet project requirements, regulatory standards, and construction needs. This position contributes to projects from pre-construction through closeout while maintaining organized and accurate drawing files.
