Job SummaryThis position is responsible operating CNC, Laser, Drills and various other machines.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesMust be mechanically inclinedMachine parts as necessary to meet production standards.Must be able to use basic inspection equipment such as calipers, mics, torque wrenches and various gauges and other tools.Perform source inspection using traveling check sheet on every unitPerform daily TPMUses stop the line authority at any sign of safety or quality concernsPerforms daily duties per work instructions / standard workCompletes all daily data collection as establishedMust perform daily 5S activitiesQualifications / Training / Skill RequirementsMust be able to read blueprintsMust have good understanding of inventory controlMust be able to follow written and verbal instructionsMust have or be able to obtain a fork truck licenseMust recognize the importance of working in a safe mannerAbility to understand what constitutes quality productsPossess basic math skillsAverage or above average skills in numeric and visual recallMust be computer literateEducation RequirementsHigh school diploma or GEDExperience RequirementsMachining experience is preferredPhysical DemandsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to work in sometimes extreme temperaturesGeneral SkillsTeamwork: Able to communicate effectively, participate as a member of a team and work well with others to maximize efficiency.Quality: Familiar with company policies and demonstrates knowledge of relevant procedures and importance of producing quality products.Safety: Follows general and equipment specific safety rules.
