Construction Superintendent

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee daily field operations on active construction projects. The Superintendent will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedules, enforcing safety protocols, and ensuring work is completed in accordance with contract documents, codes, and company standards.This role requires strong leadership, hands-on field experience, and the ability to manage complex job sites in occupied or sensitive environments.General AccountabilitiesSupervise crews and subcontractors on active job sites with a hands-on approachPlan daily work activities, including scheduling, manpower, and task coordinationManage construction sequencing and site logisticsEnforce OSHA safety requirements and maintain Site Safety Plans (SSP)Oversee quality control and workmanshipMaintain daily reports, documentation, and photo recordsCoordinate with project managers, inspectors, and building managementCommunicate clearly with field and office personnelMake sound field decisions and resolve jobsite issuesUse mobile devices reliably for field communication and reportingJob QualificationsMinimum 10–15 years of experience as a Superintendent or ForemanAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsStrong working knowledge of OSHA construction safety standardsOSHA 30 certification required (or ability to obtain)Proven experience managing multiple trades simultaneouslyStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience with regulated abatement work is a plusCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary (based on experience)Health benefitsPaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for advancementLong-term, stable workload Company DescriptionMedco LLC is a trusted name in government contracting, delivering high-quality construction and electrical solutions.
