Come join our team!Zantech is looking for a talented Solutions Architect - Integration/API to contribute to the success of our upcoming Program Management Support project for an Hybrid role based out of the Washington DC Metro Area/Pentagon.The Solutions Architect - Integration/API will play a crucial role in providing:Integration Architecture DesignAPI Standards and Design PatternsMulti-Cloud ArchitectureCross-Classification Data IntegrationSecurity Architecture and ATO SupportThe Solutions Architect specializes in designing integration patterns, API standards, and multi-cloud architectures that enable secure, scalable data sharing across the Advana platform. This role provides deep technical expertise in cloud architecture, data integration, and cross-domain solutions to support the enterprise architecture vision.This role defines the technical integration approaches that enable 180+ DoD systems to connect with Advana, ensuring secure, performant, and compliant data flows.Responsibilities Include, But Will Not Be Limited ToDesign integration architecture patterns for connecting DoD systems to AdvanaDevelop API standards, design patterns, and integration best practicesCreate multi-cloud architecture solutions balancing cost, performance, and securityDesign cross-classification level data integration approachesProvide technical expertise on real-time data integration (SLT, CDC, streaming)Support ATO processes with security architecture documentationAssess integration technologies and provide recommendationsCreate technical design documents and architecture decision recordsCoordinate with Advana platform teams on integration requirementsProvide technical guidance to data engineers and developersConduct architecture reviews and provide integration assessmentsRequired Experience Or Knowledge Of The Following Technologies/Functions10+ years in solutions architecture with 5+ years in DoD cloud and integration projectsDeep expertise in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, multi-cloud)Extensive experience with API design, RESTful services, and microservicesReal-time data integration technologies (Kafka, event streaming, CDC)Cross-classification level integration (NIPR/SIPR/JWICS)Data integration patterns and ETL/ELT architecturesSecurity architecture and DoD RMF/ATO processesInfrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)Network architecture and secure connectivity (PrivateLink, VPN, MPLS)System integration and interface designDirect experience with Advana platform integration highly valuedExperience with SAP systems (especially SAP SLT, BW, HANA) a strong plusPrior "first in DoD" or pilot program implementation experience valuedExperience with AWS PrivateLink, Direct Connect, or secure cloud connectivityRequired Education/CertificationsAWS Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent cloud certificationCertifications Preferred:AWS Security Specialty or Data Analytics SpecialtyTOGAF or DoDAF certificationKubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD)CISSP or equivalent security certificationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fieldEducation Preferred:Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical fieldAdvanced coursework in distributed systems or cloud architectureRequired Security ClearanceUS Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI or higher clearance, per contract requirements.Our corporate motto represents our commitment to build long-term relationships with both our clients and our employees by providing the highest quality service in everything we do.
