Valet Lead, Parking (Caesars New Orleans)
Job DescriptionThe Parking Valet Lead Parks and retrieves guest’s passenger vehicles. Assist in the responsibility for the overall operation of the Valet Department on assigned shift.ResponsibilitiesHandles all aspects of the valet operation including the Porte Cochere and the valet garage area during assigned shift. Ensures Front Service staff behavior and appearance are in compliance with established policy. Ensures that customer’s problems/complaints are handled in an effective, courteous manner. Directly supervises staff on one shift. Schedules lunch breaks and maintains employee break records. Handles guest complaints and on-site vehicle damage reports. Acts as a role model to other employees always presenting oneself as a credit to Caesars and encouraging others to do the same. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies. Receives vehicles from guest and fills out parking tickets. Parks vehicle in correct area and gives key and ticket to Valet Booth Attendant for filing. Retrieves car from area and returns key to guest. Handles guests’ vehicles safely and cautiously at all times. Acts as a role model to other employees and always present oneself as a credit to Caesars and encourage others to do the same. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.QualificationsHigh school or GED required. Must have a valid Louisiana driver’s license. Previous valet parking experience preferred, but not required. Must possess excellent communication skills with abilities to express oneself in a professional, clear and concise fashion. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Must present a well-groomed appearance.Physical, Mental And Environmental DemandsMust be able to work and quickly maneuver inside and outside casino in varying temperatures. Must be able to run on level surface, as well as up and down ramps and stairs. Must be able to Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
