Technical/Professional - Systems Engineer

PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Grand Prairie, TX. This is an initial 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates.Job DescriptionThis position will require the contractor to be onsite 80% of the time.Seeking a Cyber Systems Security Engineer who will be responsible for the identification and analysis of the cyber-attack surfaces and will implement the relevant cybersecurity controls on MFC products. The individual will be responsible for performing cybersecurity maintenance, including continuous monitoring, security updates, patching, and hardening. The engineer will also be responsible for providing cybersecurity oversight to our Systems and Software teams and providing the necessary documentation and artifacts to support and maintain any Client for MFCs products.Other Responsibilities Can IncludeProviding embedded System Security Engineering design and implementation in all aspects of System Security Engineering (SSE) process in development of Department of Defense (DoD) Weapon SystemsAssessing and mitigating System Security threats/risks throughout the embedded Weapon System development life cycleValidating System Security Engineering requirements decomposition, allocation and analysis for Test SystemsImplementing System Security Engineering solutions hardware and softwareVerifying implementation of system security requirementsAnalyzing weaknesses, vulnerabilities and threats against System Security posture on product designsRequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalentUS CitizenshipCANDIDATES MUST HAVE 3-5 YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING:CybersecuritySystems SecuritySystems Analysis & DesignFamiliarity with STIGs and System HardeningFamiliarity with Cyber tools such as Ansible, SCC, Nessus/ACASDesired3-5 Years of Cybersecurity Engineering experience3-5 Years of Systems Engineering experienceSystems DevelopmentSOP/Process CreationJob ID: 15918-1Military veterans and transitioning military members are encouraged to apply to all PGS Worldwide positions.
