Part-Time Driver & Field Support Assistant

We are looking for a dependable, energetic, and organized team member to provide transportation and logistical support to our field teams throughout the Bay Area. Position Summary As our Driver & Field Support Assistant, you'll be the "go-to" person who keeps projects moving smoothly. Every day is different—you may be delivering supplies, assisting project teams, transporting donations, or completing errands that help our organizers and move managers stay focused on serving clients. Responsibilities Drive a company van throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Deliver moving boxes, packing materials, and project supplies to job sites. Pick up additional supplies during projects as needed (including trips to The Container Store and other vendors). Transport resale items to partners. Deliver donations to local nonprofit organizations. Assist with hauling and transporting items between locations. Support organizers and move managers with project logistics. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the company vehicle. Communicate with the office and field teams regarding deliveries and schedules. Represent Simplicity Source professionally when interacting with clients and vendors. Qualifications Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record. Active automobile insurance. Ability to successfully pass a background check. Comfortable driving throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated. Friendly, professional, and customer-service oriented. Comfortable using a smartphone for navigation and communication.
