General Manager
As a General Manager (GM) you work under the guidance of the District Manager and are responsible for all park operations including park safety and cleanliness, membership sales and park revenue, and providing an exceptional guest experience whether they're enjoying a birthday party, the café, or attractions. You're excellent at leading by example and leading through your team by fostering a positive work environment, creating and communicating clear expectations, and upholding the highest Sky Zone standards.
*Qualifications*
* Must be *18 years of age or older* and have a *high school diploma or equivalent*; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
* Minimum of *3 years of management experience* in a high‑volume, customer‑focused industry (entertainment, fitness, retail, restaurant, etc.).
* Minimum of *2 years of sales experience*; membership‑based sales strongly preferred.
* Ability to interpret and leverage *P&L reports* to set, track, and achieve revenue goals.
* Proven history of *meeting or exceeding KPI targets*.
* Basic proficiency with *MS Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and POS systems*.
* Availability to work late evenings, *weekends, and holidays* as business needs require.
* Highly *results‑driven*, reliable, detail‑oriented, and organized.
* Ability to *stand for extended periods* and lift a minimum of *20 pounds*.
*Physical Requirements*
* Ability to remain stationary and move throughout the park for extended periods to support guest needs, operational demands, and safety requirements.
* Ability to *lift and/or move at least 20 pounds*.
* Ability to frequently *communicate and interact with employees and guests* in a busy, fast‑paced, and often loud indoor environment.
*Responsibilities*
Under the direction of the District Manager, the General Manager leads daily park operations and oversees three core areas that define our success: *Team Leadership*, *Customer Experience*, and *Revenue & Expense Management*.
*Team Members & Customer Service*
* Serve as a hands‑on leader capable of performing any park position to support the team as needed.
* Develop Assistant General Managers and Team Leads into strong people leaders, operational experts, and business‑minded contributors.
* Oversee the training provided by AGM’s and Team Leads to ensure all team members receive consistent, high‑quality instruction.
* Foster a positive, motivating park culture by recognizing achievements and understanding what drives each team member.
* Manage all phases of employment, including hiring, training, performance monitoring, growth planning, discipline, and termination when necessary.
* Maintain strong communication across all departments and with the corporate team to ensure alignment and operational clarity.
* Deliver memorable guest experiences by being proactive, responsive, and fully engaged with customers throughout their visit.
* Address customer service issues with professionalism—listening, discussing, resolving concerns, and completing all required follow‑up and documentation.
*Revenue & Expense Management*
* Lead strategically by managing park operations and expenses in alignment with Profit & Loss (P&L) statements; oversee purchasing, inventory, and cost controls, renegotiating terms when appropriate.
* Drive revenue growth in key areas including memberships, birthday parties, and special events.
* Partner with the marketing team to develop and coordinate park promotions and marketing initiatives.
* Train team members across all departments to understand how their roles contribute to revenue goals.
* Develop Front Desk Agents to execute an effective sales process and apply strong sales strategies.
* Ensure Front Desk, Party Hosts, and managers understand and track their key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Build and maintain positive relationships within the local community to strengthen the park’s presence and reputation.
* Encourage creativity and innovation—supporting managers who think outside the box and bring new ideas to life.
*Facility Compliance & Safety*
* Oversee and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of each department, implementing operational processes as needed to ensure smooth and safe park operations.
* Ensure all team members are properly trained in safety procedures, emergency responses, and reporting requirements; maintain full compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.
* Conduct daily inspections of park attractions and equipment to confirm they are safe and fully operational. Complete all required work orders, maintenance reports, and documentation, and close attractions when necessary.
* Adjust staffing levels to meet safety demands and ensure proper supervision across all areas of the park.
* Complete inventory reports for facilities, parties, food & beverage, and vending.
*Key Performance Metrics*
The General Manager is responsible for driving the success of overall park business goals, including but not limited to:
* Membership sales
* Birthday parties and special events
* Labor/payroll percentage
* Net Promoter Score (NPS)
* Safety and compliance
* Staffing and team development
*Compensation & Benefits*
Compensation ranges from *$3X–$5X base pay + bonus opportunity*, based on qualifications, experience, and performance.

Pay: $72,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
