Seeking a Program Manager experienced in handling multiple IT projects and enterprise programs within the captive finance sector.Job Title: Finance IT Program ManagerLocation: Torrance, CaliforniaJob Type: PermanentJob DescriptionJob Summary:The Captive Finance IT Program Manager will oversee and manage IT projects and programs within the captive finance sector This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders ensuring the successful delivery of IT solutions and aligning technology initiatives with business objectives The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management finance and excellent leadership skills Also managing multiple Project managers and work streams.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Management: Lead and manage multiple IT projects and programs ensuring they are delivered on time within scope and within budget.10 year Plus doing this level of Program management.Strategic Stakeholder Management: Managing relationships with key stakeholders including executives project managers and team members.Develop and implement IT strategies that support the goals of the captive finance business.Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including finance teams, IT teams and third-party vendors to ensure alignment and successful project execution.Resource Allocation: Ensuring that resources budget personnel time are effectively allocated across the program.Risk Management: Identify assess and mitigate risks associated with IT projects and programsBudget Management.Manage programs with budgets exceeding $10M while coordinating multiple Project Managers and work-streams.Managing the programs budget and ensuring that projects stay within budget.Performance Monitoring: Track and report on project performance providing regular updates to senior management.Tracking program performance identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous improvement.Compliance: Ensure all IT projects comply with relevant regulations standards and best practices.Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving issues that may arise during the programs life-cycle.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Inspiring and motivating teams to achieve program goals.Create Presentations: Gather information and develop executive-level presentations to communicate project status, funding requests, risks, change controls, and project progress.Strong PowerPoint and storytelling skills required to create informative, engaging, and impactful presentations for executive evaluators.Able to effectively capture and communicate the project’s story, including the importance of the funding request, current project status, risks, change controls, timelines, and overall business impact, while ensuring executives have a clear understanding of the initiative.Key Skills of a Program ManagerStrategic Thinking: The ability to develop and implement long term strategies.Leadership: The ability to inspire and motivate teams.Communication: The ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Problem Solving: The ability to identify and resolve issues.Time Management: The ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.Organizational Skills: The ability to organize and manage multiple tasks and projects.Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.Financial Acumen: Understanding of budgets costs and financial management.Cost control and budgeting skillsExperience in proposal writing and contract reviewingOrganizational and multitasking skills
