CNC Machinist (Tool Room)Type: Contract-to-HirePay: $22$26/hour, based on experienceShift Options:1st Shift: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM2nd Shift: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM, with 15% shift premiumPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to support daily operations within a tool room environment. This role focuses on machining tooling components, dies, and machine details to tight tolerances while supporting production needs and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.The ideal candidate will have a higher-level Tool Room Machinist background, with strong CNC setup and programming experience. Tool & Die crossover experience is a plus, but this position is focused primarily on the machining side. Wire EDM experience is preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and program CNC machines for tooling and component productionPerform machining operations on tooling, dies, and machine details to close tolerancesEnsure quality and accuracy of all machined partsRead and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaSupport daily tool room operations and production needsParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and waste reductionFollow all safety procedures and company guidelinesWork overtime as needed to support production demandsQualifications35+ years of experience as a CNC machinist in a tooling or tool room environmentTool Room Machinist background with a higher-level machining skill setCNC setup and programming experienceTool & Die crossover experience is a plus, with a focus on machiningWire EDM experience preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsExperience machining to tight tolerancesFamiliarity with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standardsComfortable using computers, control panels, and shop equipmentAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentHigh School Diploma or GED requiredTechnical or trade school training preferredPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs occasionallyCapable of standing, bending, and performing repetitive tasksComfortable working in a noisy manufacturing environmentLinked, LLC is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
