About UsAlmstead Tree & Shrub Care is a second-generation, family-owned arboriculture firm serving the NY, NJ, and CT tri-state area since 1964.As a TCIA-accredited company, we are committed to environmentally responsible practices and to supporting our employees' professional growth, safety, and quality of life.Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to lead daily office operations and serve as a key hub between our customers, field teams, and leadership.This role combines operations management, customer service leadership, and administrative oversight.What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)Office operations run smoothly with clear systems and accountabilityCustomer inquiries and follow-ups are handled promptly and professionallyBilling, accounts receivable, and collections processes are organized and improvingAdministrative team is aligned, supported, and productiveLeadership has improved visibility into key reports and office metricsKey ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day office operations and administrative workflowsSupervise and support administrative staffServe as escalation point for customer inquiriesSupport customer service and inside sales effortsAssist with invoicing and oversee accounts receivableManage collections and key account follow-upsPrepare client proposals and job documentationSupport onboarding logistics for new employeesManage office supplies and vendorsProvide reporting and data tracking supportRequirements5–10+ years of office management or administrative leadership experienceExperience in a service-based or field operations environment preferredProven ability to manage multiple prioritiesSkills & CompetenciesStrong organizational and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHigh attention to detail and follow-throughProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability to lead and prioritizeEducationAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferredEquivalent experience will be consideredBenefitsCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $85,000 – $95,000Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement planPaid time offOpportunities for growth and advancementEqual Opportunity EmployerAlmstead Tree & Shrub Care is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
