POSITION DESCRIPTION:Position Title: Operational Assistant Store LeaderReports To: Store LeaderClassification: Full-Time/Exempt/Salaried + IncentivesPOSITION OVERVIEW:The Operational Assistant Store Leader contributes to Range USA's success by leading a team of engaged store associates to create and maintain the Range USA experience for customers. The Operational Assistant Store Leader is responsible for supervising the workplace, being the Safety Leader in the store by ensuring associate and customer safety and customer satisfaction, managing the store’s sales performance, ensuring compliance with all ATF requirements, and sustaining brand equity.JOB DESCRIPTION:Store administrator of the store’s applicant tracking system; recruit, interview, and hire top talent in a timely manner.Conduct the onboarding process with assistance from Store Leader for all new hiresCreate schedules, approve time sheets, and approve absences. All inventory received following ATF and company policies. Receiving area neat clean and organized.Coordination with Product on Purchase Order issues or inventory concernsStore Supplies ordering to support ongoing businessEnsure ATF compliance and all internal policies regarding the selling and handling of firearms are strictly adhered to always4473 next day audits are completedManage store compliance programs including third and fourth checks of 4473 forms, form filing system, corrections, and customer contactsManage weekly serial audits, and any additional product cycle counts.Facilitate all firearm transfers.Manage all visual standards in the store, including merchandise presentation, back stock, signage, lighting, and general maintenanceAssist in the production and setup of all event marketing materialsOpening and Closing the Store; register counts, locking/unlocking of store as scheduled.Responsible for safe counts and depositsDESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Possess the following core values: CuriousPassionateDo It RightServiceMinimum of 2 or more years of retail sales experience. ATF form 4473 experience is desired but not necessary. Availability to work a flexible schedule and hours necessary to open and/or close the store including nights, weekends and holidays.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), inventory management systems and POS systems.Strong communication skills (verbal & written) including strong relationship building skills.Communicate with customers to ensure that they are satisfied and that their needs are being met.Participate in performance management by creating, documenting, and reporting on performance and incentive goals. Balance business needs with customer needs and build relationships with customers.
