Founding Sales Account Executive – AI FinTechLocation: San Francisco, CAEmployment Type: Direct Hire – Full TimeWork Arrangement: 100% OnsiteCompensation: $210,000 – $250,000 OTE + equityBase Salary Range: Approximately $140,000 – $180,000HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a seasoned, highly skilled Founding Sales Account Executive to join one of our valued client partners. HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for this enterprise sales leadership role within a rapidly growing AI-driven fintech technology company.Position OverviewThe Founding Sales Account Executive will play a critical role in establishing and scaling the company's enterprise sales motion. This position requires a high-performing sales professional who is capable of owning the entire sales cycle while contributing directly to the development of the company's go-to-market strategy.The role requires strong pipeline generation capabilities, deep ownership of enterprise deal cycles, and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers across financial institutions. The successful candidate will work closely with executive leadership to shape pricing strategies, refine messaging, and help establish the early sales infrastructure that will support long-term growth.Candidates must demonstrate consistent success closing complex enterprise deals and show the ability to operate effectively within early-stage startup environments.Core ResponsibilitiesOwn the entire enterprise sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, discovery, negotiation, and closingBuild and manage a pipeline from scratch through outbound prospecting and relationship developmentSell directly to banks, fintech companies, crypto organizations, and financial institutionsDevelop relationships with compliance leaders, operations executives, and senior financial decision-makersPartner directly with the CEO and go-to-market leadership to refine sales strategy, messaging, pricing, and product positioningContribute to building the company's initial sales playbook, processes, and sales infrastructureSupport development of a predictable, data-driven pipeline through structured outbound effortsAssist with hiring, onboarding, and mentoring future sales team members as the organization scalesRepresent the company professionally during high-level client conversations and enterprise sales negotiationsRequired Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)Candidates must meet all of the following requirements to be considered for interview:4–8 years of professional sales experienceMinimum 2 years of experience as a closing Account ExecutiveProven track record of closing enterprise deals valued at $100,000+ ACVDemonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales quotasExperience managing the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting through closePrior experience working at early-stage startups or high-growth technology companiesStrong ability to generate pipeline independently through outbound prospectingExceptional communication skills and ability to engage executive-level stakeholdersStable career progression with no pattern of job hoppingCandidates who have primarily worked within large enterprise sales environments without startup exposure will not be considered.Preferred QualificationsThe following qualifications are highly preferred but not required:Experience selling into banks, fintech companies, crypto organizations, or financial institutionsPrior experience within fintech infrastructure, compliance technology, RegTech, or enterprise SaaS platformsBackground selling solutions into regulated industriesExperience closing six-figure to seven-figure enterprise dealsDemonstrated experience helping build early-stage sales processes or playbooksSales EnvironmentThe platform focuses on automating financial compliance workflows through artificial intelligence, including areas such as:AML investigationsKYC and KYB onboardingTransaction monitoringCompliance data analysisEnterprise customers often include financial institutions responsible for regulatory compliance and operational risk management.Typical enterprise sales cycles range from 1–6 months, often including pilot programs and technical validation stages.What Type of Candidate HireNow Staffing Is Recruiting ForHireNow Staffing is seeking a highly charismatic enterprise sales professional with strong ownership mentality and startup experience.The ideal candidate will demonstrate:Proven ability to close large enterprise deals independentlyStrong hunter mentality with consistent outbound pipeline creationEntrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for building new sales infrastructure from the ground upStrong executive presence and the ability to build trust with senior financial leadersExperience working in high-growth startup environmentsMotivation to build long-term value through equity ownership and company growthCandidates who combine enterprise sales success, startup adaptability, and strong relationship-building skills will align most closely with this role.Compensation & BenefitsBase Salary: $140,000 – $180,000On-Target Earnings (OTE): $210,000 – $250,000Equity participationPerformance-based commission structureVisa sponsorship is not available for this position.HireNow Staffing DisclaimerHireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for this role.
