Previous machine operating experience is REQUIRED; machine set-up, calibration and technical troubleshooting is a MUST. Pay range up to $27hr.Maintains the overall machine operationVerifies each scheduled production order prior to starting set-upOrders components based on shop order requirementsPerforms all machine set-ups and adjustments as requiredUnwraps, trims, and prepares rolls for shaftingMaintains adequate level of glue in pans, drums, or hot melt applicator hopperMakes all possible preparations for next scheduled orderWorks toward maintenance and cleanliness of machine and adjacent area as requiredPerforms First Article of Inspection at bag set-ups; perform 30-minute bag teardowns and other quality procedures (visual checks, adjustments, etc.) needed to maintain bag qualityInforms management of any substandard materials or any apparent mechanical or electrical repairs neededJob Requirements:High School GED or DiplomaAble to work Monday - Thursday/ 12hr Night shift 7pm-7amAssociate's Degree from an accredited college preferredTwo years of work experience in a related industryMechanically inclinedAbility to read measuring toolsMust complete Safety Orientation, Departmental Safety Training and OSHA Standards TrainingWork experience with computers and other business equipmentThis position requires the annual completion of Hazardous Waste Management training provided by ProAmpac
