Day-to-day work includes building rich browser-based interfaces for data entry, reporting, and workflow management; writing backend logic for file generation and data transformation; querying and optimizing databases; and scripting operational tasks in Bash and PowerShell. The ideal candidate is someone who can own a feature end-to-end — from writing the SQL and PHP backend through the front-end — and is comfortable managing their own deployments on a Linux server.Responsibilities:Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and deliver features end-to-end.Troubleshoot and resolve application bugs, performance issues, and data integrity problems across the full stack.Participate in ongoing improvements to application architecture, code quality, and development practices.Facilitates and executes installation, testing, and debugging of system software.Plans system software installations to minimize workflow interruption and downtime.Trains system operators and other staff.Performs other related duties as assigned.Required Skills:Two of the following:o  4-year degree in Computer Science (or related field)o  2+ years professional programming experienceo  Portfolio of past work/projects (link to it in your resume)Experience working from a terminal ( Bash or Powershell ) GitSQL/Database Administration Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office SuitePreferred Skills: PHP Javascript/Node.jsMongoDBExperience managing Microsoft 365 organizations.Familiar with AWS EC2 instancesExperience managing on-premises server infrastructure, including OS installation, networking, and ongoing maintenance.Proficiency in Linux/Unix environmentsExperience using an IDE, such as VS CodePhysical Requirements:Be in office Mon-Fri (8:30a.m.-5:30p.m.)Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15lbs at times.Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person Salary Range: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurance
