We focus on gathering pivotal candidate data at critical decision-making points—the decision to apply, the decision to accept an offer, and the internship experience—to deliver bespoke insights and strategic recommendations that enhance candidate experiences and recruitment outcomes.As a Senior Research Consultant, you will independently lead customized research projects from conception through delivery. You'll partner directly with senior-level stakeholders at some of the nation's most prominent organizations, serving as their trusted advisor on critical recruitment strategy and candidate experience decisions.How You'll Grow The Custom Insights team is one of the most dynamic and impactful groups at Veris Insights, encompassing strategic client engagement, data-driven research design, and influential presentation delivery. You'll collaborate closely with senior leaders to manage and deliver customized research projects including independently shaping survey methodologies to client needs, owning client interactions, and confidently delivering bespoke research projects to executive stakeholders. You naturally embrace a culture centered around service to our clients as well as fellow team members.Innovative mindset: You consistently identify opportunities to refine methodologies, enhance research quality, and deliver creative solutions to complex problems.Exceptional communicator: Your clarity and executive presence allow you to distill detailed information into strategic narratives with confidence.Comfort creating structure: You are excited and motivated by the fact that we are a start-up and are consistently forging new ground on the frontier of growth.Key Responsibilities: Research Consulting & Project Management Serve as the primary research advisor for 5-8 enterprise-level employer partners, diagnosing their unique talent acquisition and early career recruiting challenges and designing customized research protocols to address themScope projects and create workplans that align research design with client objectivesLead end-to-end research projects independently: define client needs, formulate research questions, develop tailored survey instruments, and produce insightful deliverablesCoordinate project timelines and proactively manage relationships with senior stakeholders and main points of contact at member organizationsKey Responsibilities: Data Interpretation & Strategic Narrative Formation Distilling quantitative and qualitative findings into clear, executive-ready summaries and strategic recommendationsAnalyze open-ended comments to discern key themes and translate them into compelling narratives tailored for early career and talent acquisition leadersWriting tailored takeaways and recommendations for employers based on the most salient research findingsReview research deliverables (own and peers') to ensure accuracy, clarity, and client-readiness before they reach stakeholdersKey Responsibilities: Communicating Research Findings Present research findings directly to senior and executive-level stakeholders in member organizations with confidence and credibilityServe as a trusted advisor on employers' recruiting strategy, proactively providing strategic guidance rooted in Veris Insights' research that influences client decisionsBuild enduring advisory relationships that position you as a go-to source of talent intelligence for client stakeholdersKey Responsibilities: Internal Processes & Continuous Improvement Contribute to research strategy by generating ideas for new project objectives and product innovationIdentify opportunities for infrastructure and process improvements, and help drive their implementation through thoughtful workplanningDemonstrate strong work calibration skills, managing competing priorities and quality standards across a portfolio of concurrent client projectsThe Requirements 4-6 years of professional experience in survey research, analytics, talent insights, consulting, or related fields, with a meaningful portion spent in client-facing or advisory capacities.Demonstrated excellence advising external clients, including a track record of building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and influencing their strategic decisions.Proven ability to diagnose ambiguous business challenges and translate them into well-scoped research designs, from formulating research questions through instrument design, analysis, and deliveryStrong quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities, paired with the strategic storytelling skills needed to turn complex data into executive-ready narratives.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the executive presence and credibility to present findings directly to senior leaders in early career programs or talent acquisition.Proven ability to design and execute custom research projects from end to end.Experience managing concurrent projects independently, including scoping, workplanning, and coordinating timelines across multiple client engagementsThe Compensation & Benefits Package Salary: $92,500 to $115,000 annually, depending on experienceLocation: Remote-first within the U.S., with occasional travel to Washington, DC for in-person collaboration, team off-sites, or strategic planningTime Off: Unlimited PTO, plus monthly mental health daysHealth & Wellness: Medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus a $1,000 annual wellness stipendRetirement: 401(k) with up to 4% employer matchFamily Support: Paid parental leaveWork Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.
