This role combines end-to-end project delivery ownership with financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, vendor coordination, and enterprise stakeholder management.The ideal candidate brings strong project management experience across large enterprise programs, financial oversight capabilities, and the ability to bridge business and technical teams within complex infrastructure and systems integration environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end delivery of Technology Integration (TI) workstreams for AMI 2.0 initiativesPrepare, analyze, manage, and deliver financial reports, forecasts, variance analysis, and budget trackingCollaborate closely with technical teams, TI leadership, and business stakeholders to align project milestones and deliverablesDevelop and maintain integrated project plans (IPP), project schedules, work breakdown structures, and resource plansTrack project scope against baseline requirements and support formal change control processesDocument scope changes, assess impacts, and escalate risks/issues to senior leadership as neededMaintain audit-ready documentation related to financial transactions, milestones, and project deliverablesIdentify project risks, opportunities, and corrective action plansSupport procurement activities, vendor management, and IT contract negotiationsCoordinate activities across multiple technical and business workstreams within large-scale enterprise initiativesProvide regular project updates, reporting, and communication to leadership and stakeholdersWhat You'll Be Working OnAMI 2.0 and utility technology modernization initiativesLarge-scale enterprise technology integration programsFinancial planning, forecasting, and budget management for IT projectsCross-functional coordination between technical and business teamsIntegrated project scheduling, resource planning, and delivery managementVendor coordination, procurement support, and contract managementEnterprise infrastructure and systems integration initiativesRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong project management experience supporting large enterprise initiatives with multiple workstreams and releasesExperience managing financial estimates, forecasts, budgets, reporting, and variance analysisStrong analytical and quantitative skills with advanced Excel and reporting capabilitiesBroad IT infrastructure knowledge with the ability to understand enterprise delivery dependenciesExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skillsStrong risk management, issue resolution, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to quickly adapt and execute within fast-paced enterprise programsAbility to bridge business requirements with technical solutionsExperience personally executing day-to-day project management deliverablesBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field3+ years of project management experience with strong financial planning and reporting responsibilitiesExperience supporting large-scale utility technology initiatives such as AMI, Grid Modernization, or related programsStable work history within large enterprise organizations3+ years of Big 4 consulting experience preferredDesired SkillsExperience with AMI 1.0 or AMI 2.0 smart grid initiativesExperience with utility technology integrations including MDMS, head-end systems, OMS, SAP, and ADMSExperience presenting technical information to non-technical stakeholdersPMP or CAPM certification preferredMaster's degree in Finance, Business, or related discipline preferredFamiliarity with regulatory requirements and financial compliance within utility or IT environmentsStrong vendor management and IT contract negotiation experience
