A career at Aperia promises a great challenge, culture, and opportunities to forge your own path.Job DescriptionThe Project Manager is responsible for planning, tracking, and managing enterprise projects for a key client is the payments space.ResponsibilitiesOrganize and facilitate project planning, host and attend daily stand-up meetings, participate in sprint reviews, lead and play an active role in lessons-learned and retrospectives, active participation and evaluation of sprint and release planning towards delivery of a cohesive project schedule, participate in demos and other Scrum-related meetingsConduct routine planning sessions with the Scrum Master, Client Engagement Manger, and Product Owner for alignment on project plan and roadmapEvaluate sprint/release progress as relative to the project planEnsure the development teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability and visibilityLeads Projects assigned with ability to properly initiate, plan, execute, control and close work to meet outlined success criteria.Produces Project Plans, Estimates, and Deliverables consistent with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.Monitor and report on Project Status, Project Milestones and IssuesPrepare estimates of Effort (EOE) and evaluate Estimates to Complete (ETC)Interfaces with internal Business Analysts, Technical Personnel, and Management to assess and determine resource requirements and resolve conflictsDefines standards for Project Management documentation, measurements, and reportingSupports project team with project deliverables as necessaryInterfaces with Aperia Solutions clients as necessary regarding project status and issuesQualifications4+ years’ experience in project management in an Agile environmentExperience in delivery of technical software solutions using SDLC methodologies that support Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile modelsFamiliarity with Project Management concepts, deliverables, and techniquesDemonstrated experience in producing project tracking documentationExperience in conflict resolutionProcess orientation with emphasis on measurement and feedbackAbility to work in fast-paced, dynamic environmentExceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-taskDemonstrated leadership in motivating teams to high performanceExcellent written and verbal communications skills at the business and technical levelStrong work ethic, commitment and teamworkAbility to work independently with little supervisionAble to work flexible hours, especially during critical project schedulesProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plusBA or BS Degree preferredEligibility RequirementsMust be willing to submit to a background investigation and drug test as part of the selection process.This position is not eligible for sponsorship.Job Type Full-timeSchedule Monday to FridayWillingness to participate in late night calls periodicallyWork Location Frisco, TXBenefits Health insurance Health savings accountDental insuranceVision insurance401(k) matchingLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveDisability insuranceChildcare assistanceEducation reimbursementFitness membershipVolunteer time offThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
