Senior Accountant/Finance Manager

Job Responsibilities Interest and proactively seeking how the business functions. Knowledge of Accounting practices Month End Responsibilities such as reconciliation of bank accounts, BS account reconciliations, reserves and provisions (prepaid expenses and accrual accounts), journal entries AR & AP Aging Clean-up and maintenance Remittance of Sales Tax to registered states Finance lead for inventory cycle counts. Understanding of the overall impact of financial decisions Assisting in the implementation of the new ERP system Account Receivables (AR) – processing/depositing checks and credit cards from customers. Accounts Payables (AP) – maintaining and processing payments on time. Cash Flow – ability to reconcile cash on a weekly basis. Variance explanations for financial statements Prepare documentation for external auditors. Other tasks as assigned. Assist with year-end audits. Skills & Qualifications Skills Manufacturing experience with inventory knowledge. Ability to work well in a team environment. Independent and initiative-taking self-starter. Ability to question processes to gain understanding of how the business is operating as well as ability to develop and create more efficient processes. Strong mathematical skills Strong analytical skills Excellent and professional oral and written communication skills Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to read and analyze financial reports (such as knowledge in accruals, P&L and BS) Education Bachelor’s degree in accounting for finance (required) At least two years’ experience in accounting or a related field Systems QuickBooks Desktop (Required) Microsoft Dynamics (Not required, but knowledge would be helpful as company is implementing to replace QB) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., vLookups, sumifs, Pivot Tables, Charts/Graphs, etc.) Proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Physical Setting: Office Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Experience: QuickBooks: 2 years (Required) Ability to Commute: Saint Helens, OR 97051 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Saint Helens, OR 97051: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
