Job Title: Tenacious Tax AccountantWeber CPA is a Faith based business advisory firm looking to add an exceptional tax accountant to our team. We provide our clients with a business advisory program that offers them recurring access to trustworthy business and tax advice, helping them tackle today’s problems (which we know are plenty), while also guiding them to focus on tomorrow’s opportunities.What Winning Looks Like – Being able to:Prepare tax returns (individual, corporate, and partnership), maintain tax records and tax-related schedules (3+ years of tax return preparation experience requested)Devise, plan, and execute tax strategies and research potential tax issuesAnalyze tax regulations to ensure all regulations are met by our firmTrack fixed assets and manage depreciation schedulesReview financial transaction records and general ledger to ensure compliancePrepare journal entries and account reconciliationsAnswer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting dataProtect the integrity of our organization by keeping client information confidentialSkills Needed to Win:CPA or CPA CandidateAccounting principlesRecords managementBookkeeping software (such as QuickBooks)Tax software (UltraTax a plus)Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)Engaging communication skills on phone, via email, and face-to-faceClient service orientedAbility to work independently and within a teamProactive problem-solving and time management skills under pressureHighly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects effectivelyEnthusiasm to grow professionally as well as personallyWhat we offer:Paid time off (including holidays and sick/personal time)Health Insurance Allowance401KFlexible scheduleAs mentioned above, we pride ourselves on being different in all the right ways.
