Our team takes pride in delivering projects with precision, efficiency, and craftsmanship—knowing the spaces we build make a real impact in our communities.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Salem, OR for a Commercial Playground Installer with a strong heavy equipment background.This is not an entry-level role—we are looking for someone who can operate an excavator efficiently and with precision while contributing to a fast-paced, high-performing installation crew.You will be responsible for:Operating excavators and skid steers for site prep, grading, and trenchingLeading or supporting layout and installation of playground equipmentReading and executing plans and site drawings accuratelyMaintaining efficient production and jobsite flowEnsuring all work meets safety and quality standardsTroubleshooting site challenges and adapting quickly in the fieldProjects are located throughout Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, and overnight travel is required.QualificationsRequiredProven construction experienceStrong excavator operating skills (precision, efficiency, and safety are critical)Experience with skid steers and jobsite equipmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints and layoutsValid driver’s licenseAbility to pass a background checkPhysically capable of lifting and working in outdoor environmentsPreferredExperience with playground installation or similar site workKnowledge of safety regulations and compliance standardsCDL (a plus)Ability to obtain CPSI certification within 18 monthsWhat We’re Looking ForSomeone who works with urgency and efficiencyTakes pride in clean, precise workCan think ahead on a jobsite, not just follow directionsReliable, accountable, and a strong team playerWhy Join UsWork on unique, meaningful projects across the PNWBe part of a growing, family-owned companyHelp build spaces that positively impact communitiesCompensation & Benefits$25–$35+/hour (DOE – based on excavator skill and experience)Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceOpportunities for advancement and leadership rolesOngoing training and certification support (including CPSI)Consistent, work with a growing company
