Job Title: Administrative Assistant Location: Chick-fil-A East Sioux Falls Reports To: Franchise Owner/Operator Pay: $19–$23 per hour Benefits: Medical Insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO) Position Overview Chick-fil-A is seeking a highly organized and dependable Administrative Assistant to support the daily back-office operations of our business. This role is essential to keeping systems running smoothly, finances organized, and vendor relationships strong. The Administrative Assistant will work closely with the Franchise Owner and play a key role in supporting the overall success and efficiency of business administration (office organization, monitoring email, bill paying, etc). This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and optimistic, with a desire to grow professionally. Prior administrative experience is preferred but not required—we value a strong work ethic, optimism, and strong character. Key Responsibilities Manage billing, invoicing, and basic accounts payable/receivable tasks Maintain and organize back-office systems, records, and digital files Support administrative processes related to payroll Coordinate and manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and suppliers Track contracts, renewals, and vendor documentation Ensure office organization, supply management, and efficient workflows Assist with reporting, data entry, and operational summaries for the Franchise Owner Identify opportunities to improve administrative systems and processes Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion Qualifications & Skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Self-starter who can manage tasks independently and prioritize effectively Optimistic, professional, and service-minded attitude Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working with basic office technology and learning new systems Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Administrative, office, or bookkeeping experience preferred but not required What We Offer Competitive hourly pay ($19–$23 per hour, based on skills and capabilities and experience) Medical insurance benefits Paid time off (PTO) Supportive, values-driven workplace culture Opportunity to work directly with the Franchise Owner and gain hands-on business experience Growth and development opportunities within a respected brand If you are organized, motivated, and excited to contribute behind the scenes to a thriving Chick-fil-A restaurant, we encourage you to apply.
