Detection Engineer

A company is looking for a Detection Engineer to manage the detection lifecycle and enhance security operations through automation and incident response. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-fidelity detection logic and automated workflows Serve as a hands-on incident responder and lead complex investigations Collaborate with teams to validate detection and response effectiveness and improve security posture Required Qualifications Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience Five years of experience in detection engineering or related security operations roles Proven experience with SIEM platforms and writing detection rules Hands-on experience with SOAR platforms and AI-assisted development tools Experience with AWS security offerings and incident response leadership
