Principal ProServe Cloud Architect

Job OverviewAmazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced ProServe Cloud Architect (PCA) to join the professional services team. The PCA works closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and business objectives, designing and implementing tailored cloud solutions and providing technical expertise throughout the cloud journey.Key ResponsibilitiesDesigning complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions, estimates, and proposals to deliver customer business outcomes (CBOs)Providing technical guidance and best practices during the sales and implementation phasesCollaborating with Account Executives and Shared Delivery Teams to ensure proposed solutions are realistic and achievableActing as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologiesSharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifactsBasic QualificationsExperience managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projectsExperience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (e.g. security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA etc.)Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologiesPreferred QualificationsDegree in advanced technology, or AWS Professional level certificationKnowledge of compliance and security standards across the enterprise IT landscapeKnowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologiesKnowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPRExperience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environmentsExperience managing executive customer relationships and key business stakeholdersExperience with enterprise architecture frameworks (like TOGAF, Zachman) and identifying relationships between business services, information, applications and global infrastructure assetsExperience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environmentsSalary and BenefitsBase salary range: USA, CA, Mountain View: $210,200.00 – $284,300.00 annually; USA, CA, San Francisco: $210,200.00 – $284,300.00 annually; USA, IL, Chicago: $182,800.00 – $247,300.00 annually; USA, NY, New York: $201,000.00 – $272,000.00 annually; USA, TX, Austin: $182,800.00 – $247,300.00 annually; USA, TX, Dallas: $182,800.00 – $247,300.00 annually; USA, VA, Herndon: $182,800.00 – $247,300.00 annually; USA, WA, Seattle: $182,800.00 – $247,300.00 annually.
