Job Summary Our client a leading Retail & Consumer Goods provider is seeking a Accounts Payable / Receivables to join their team! This position is located Hybrid in Louisville, Kentucky. This role will work closely with internal teams and third-party partners to ensure accurate reporting, timely payments, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This is a hybrid role — primarily remote, but candidates must be local to Louisville, KY and available to come onsite as needed for mail handling, meetings, and business needs. Core Responsibilities Prepare, record, verify, analyze, and report accounts related to sales tax compliance and business licensingPartner with third-party co-sourcing vendors to ensure accurate reporting and timely remittanceCoordinate and upload General Ledger data to third-party systemsReview variances and resolve discrepanciesMaintain tracking spreadsheets for licensing renewals and paymentsPrepare and post journal entries to the General LedgerPerform account reconciliations and ensure financial accuracyWork with internal teams, external partners, and jurisdictions to obtain and maintain business licensesResolve licensing issues and respond to noticesPrepare Accounts Payable payment requestsProcess incoming mail and documentation related to tax and licensingApply for sales tax registrations for new locationsMaintain and update accurate sales tax ratesPrepare Open/Close Store reports on a periodic basisSupport additional projects and documentation requests as neededRequired Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)0–3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting, or related fieldBasic understanding of General Ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliationsProficiency in Microsoft Excel (tracking and analysis)Strong attention to detail and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesStrong communication and collaboration skillsWork Environment Location: Louisville, KentuckyHybridCompensation & Benefits Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $14.00 and $20.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
