We are seeking a proactive, collaborative, and highly organized Marketing Specialist to join our mission-driven team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of all things marketing for a company working to shift the death care paradigm. You’ll report to the Marketing Director and collaborate closely with a talented team of end-of-life professionals. The Marketing Specialist is an individual contributor role with meaningful ownership and accountability. You’ll ensure our marketing engine runs smoothly day-to-day while also contributing ideas and insights to marketing strategy and campaigns. RESPONSIBILITIESGrowth Marketing (35%)Support demand generation and category growth through coordinated digital marketing efforts.Project manage digital campaigns from concept through launch, including coordinating creative production, setup, and performance tracking across platforms and CRMCraft content for email campaigns and lead nurture initiativesRefresh campaign content on a regular cadence to maintain relevance and performanceMonitor performance and surface insights to support optimization and decision-making Content Marketing & Management (35%)Own the creation, organization, and performance of marketing content and materials.Maintain and execute an editorial calendar across social, email, and web articlesCreate new website articles designed to educate audiences and drive interestDevelop written and visual content for a highly engaged social media audienceCapture and organize imagery, testimonials, and content opportunities across the organizationReport on content performance and recommend improvementsMonitor and respond to reviews across platforms such as Google My Business Media & Outreach (20%)Collaborate with outreach, pre-planning, and leadership to identify and implement high-impact brand awareness strategies.Manage inbound media requests and coordinate interviews and responsesEnsure sales and outreach teams have the marketing materials needed to promote the businessConduct targeted outreach to pre-planning prospects and community partners (hospice, senior living, care facilities) to drive engagement through tours, presentations, and eventsSupport in-person and virtual toursAttend and support community and member events as needed Marketing Operations & Internal Communications (10%)Help maintain strong internal systems and a seamless brand experience.Maintain an organized, up-to-date library and inventory of marketing assets, both in digital and physical formatsDocument processes, track expenses, and compile recurring performance reportsMake basic website content and image updatesSupport updates to key documents, communications, and marketing materialsHelp ensure the Seattle facility’s lobby and visitor experience are welcoming, educational, and on-brandManage the operations and growth of the online storefront SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSYou’re dependable, curious, intentional, and genuinely excited to learn and grow. This is a hybrid position: Must have reliable access to a quiet space to work in when outside the office and reliable transportation to office. SALARY RANGE AND BENEFIT INFORMATIONExpected starting range: $65,000 - $72,000, paid hourly. This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime.
