We are dynamically introducing the digital substation technology with several success stories in the region behind.Job DescriptionThe main responsibilities for this position are:coordinate project design between stakeholders (also multinational), verify the design against local regulations, act as Grid Automation focal point and lead technical discussions with project stakeholders, coordinate calculation of Protection Setpoints, support developing design documentation, lead technical discussions with GE manufacturing units to compromise the client’s requirements ver. feasibility, recommend solutions which both meet the requirements and secure GE interest, technical support for the project management team, as well as sales and tendering, configuration and on-site commissioning of GE P&C solutions, customer trainings (presentations, hands-on training), aftersales support for GE clients in the region; QualificationsEducation: Technical High School Diploma of a relevant faculty of protection & automation in energy systems; Ph.D will be a plus Experience: sound and working experience in power systems, specifically transmission, in the field of protection relays; knowledge of HV/MV systems, incl. bus bar applications, standards, specifications, requirements, communication protocols, etc.; acquaintance of GE range of HV/MV protection relays i.e. Micom Px40, Multilin UR, 8 series will be a plus; experience in computer networks, switches, routers, gateways, etc. will be a plus sound interpersonal skills to effectively interact with a diverse groups of stakeholders, both external and internal; Specific knowledge: Native or fluent Polish; English command to effectively communicate with multinational customers and other GE functions abroad; Visibility of work requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information; The position involves ~50% time travelling.
