Data Warehouse EngineerSeeking a Data Warehouse Engineer that can develop dimensional model on Delta Data Lake with code written in Python or PySQL running on Apache Spark Server in Azure Synapse Environment, which can scale to process millions to billions of transactional and behavioral data received from retailer, google analytics, Firebase, Site AnalyticsThe person selected for this position will have:Azure Synapse AnalyticsDelta Data LakePython/Scala/SparkServerless ArchitectureTechnology Stack Required to successfully perform the Work:In depth knowledge of Azure Cloud EnvironmentStrong Working experience on Azure Synapse AnalyticsSolid background in building Dimensional Modeling (i.e., Slowly Changing Dimension etc.) in SQL ServerExperience in developing Notebooks in Synapse Analytics or Databricks (SQL, Python etc.)Exposure to building solution on Serverless ArchitectureExperience in DevOps configuration, code migration and troubleshooting.Experience building SSIS packages and reports, dashboards with PowerBI.Required Skills:1) Azure Synapse2) Python, Spark, or Scala3) Data Lake or similar technology such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.Additional Skills:Remote 3 days per week, flexible as to which days the candidate wants to come into office each weekWill gain experience in an on-prem to cloud migration projectExperience working for an independent state govt. agencyBackground Check: YesNotes:Must be on site in the downtown Richmond area 2 days per week, Apex will pay for parking
