Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency - Orlando

The Brooks Rehabilitation Institute of Higher Learning is seeking Orthopaedic residents to join the 2026-2027 Residency cohort. All residents are employed as full-time staff therapists within Brooks Rehabilitation while enrolled in the program. The yearlong training consists of three components of learning that include didactic/psychomotor classes, clinical mentoring, and directed learning activities. Clinical mentoring is the backbone of our program, and thus all residents will receive 150 hours of 1:1 mentoring while in the program. For additional details on the program and curriculum please visit our residency page Orthopaedic Residency Program | Brooks IHL.The deadline to apply is February 5th, 2026Admissions RequirementsApplicants to the Brooks Orthopaedic Residency Program:* Must graduate from a CAPTE accredited PT program.* If you are a Non-US educated physical therapist, please contact us to determine if you meet the admission requirements.Must obtain a Florida PT license or temporary license by the second Friday in June.Must meet all eligibility requirements to be employed as a practicing Physical Therapist within Brooks Rehabilitation.Must demonstrate membership within the APTA.Applications are open for the 2026-2027 Orlando and Jacksonville programs.
