Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages to enhance their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation in accordance with food safety regulations Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to maximize sales opportunities Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, process payments seamlessly, and issue receipts using POS systems like OpenTable or other restaurant software Assist with food preparation tasks when needed and support kitchen staff by bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas Provide exceptional guest service by addressing questions about menu items, accommodating special requests, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques Proven ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash responsibly Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Knowledge of the food industry trends and a passion for hospitality that drives memorable guest experiences Embark on a vibrant career where your enthusiasm makes every meal memorable!
