Hematology/Oncology Physician Join our elite team as a Hematology/Oncology Physician and make a vital impact on patient care at leading healthcare facilities in Minneapolis. We are seeking a highly qualified, triple-boarded specialist dedicated to delivering exceptional inpatient oncology and malignant hematology services. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with comprehensive support and flexible scheduling, starting as soon as possible. In this role, you will provide inpatient care, manage malignant hematology cases, take call as needed, and collaborate with supportive staff to ensure superior treatment outcomes. You'll work at Abbott Northwestern and Allina Health Cancer Institute with potential shifts at United Hospital and Cambridge Medical Center. This position offers a rewarding full-time schedule with daytime hours, including on-call responsibilities. Required Skills: Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology (Triple Boarded)Valid Minnesota medical license (IMLC accepted)Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experienceProven expertise in malignant hematology and medical oncologyAbility to perform required proceduresStrong communication and teamwork skillsEmergency privileges with a clean backgroundNice to Have Skills: Experience supporting infusion centers and performing special proceduresFamiliarity with Epic EMR systemAdditional certifications or specialized training in oncology or hematologyExperience working in a hospital setting with a high volume of patientsPreferred Education and Experience: MD or DO from an accredited medical schoolAt least 2 years of post-residency practice in hematology/oncologyDemonstrated ability to handle inpatient and outpatient cases efficientlyOther Requirements: MN license (or ability to obtain quickly)DEA certificationBLS certificationAvailability for 6-month contract with possible extensionsFlexibility to support both scheduled hours and on-call dutiesThis position offers a highly competitive hourly pay rate of $463.13, weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits, and a robust referral bonus program.
