General Construction Crewman

Delta Services Construction is looking for a dependable general construction crewman with working knowledge of residential appliance installation. This role supports active remodel job sites and requires someone comfortable jumping between tasks, following direction, and maintaining high jobsite standards. The position is short-term to start, with the possibility of extended or ongoing work for the right candidate. Core Responsibilities Assist with general construction and remodel tasks across active job sites Install and help install residential appliances (ranges, dishwashers, ovens, refrigerators, range hoods, etc.) Protect finishes and maintain clean, organized job sites Follow job plans and direction from project leads Coordinate with crew members and communicate issues clearly Adapt to changing daily priorities typical of remodel work Required Qualifications Demonstrated experience with residential appliance installation General construction experience (remodel, carpentry, or similar) Ability to work independently without constant supervision Strong jobsite awareness: safety, cleanliness, and professionalism Must be legally authorized to work in the United States References required Own smartphone and ability to use basic timekeeping / communication apps Reliable transportation required (truck/van and tools are a plus, but not required) Preferred (Not Required) Broader carpentry or remodel experience (framing, trim, drywall, paint, etc.) Familiarity working in occupied homes Ability to troubleshoot minor install or fit issues on site What We Value Clean, respectful demeanor — you represent the company to clients and vendors Reliability and punctuality Willingness to adjust as job needs change Respect for tools, coworkers, and client property About Delta Services Construction Delta Services Construction is a Portland-area residential remodeling company focused on quality craftsmanship, flexibility, and professional jobsite conduct.
